Although I now live and serve in Central California, I was born in sunny Orange County. My parents emigrated from Punjab, India, in 1979, and their journey of faith and perseverance has shaped much of who I am today. I have travelled to many places around the world, yet California will always feel like home.
My ministry focuses primarily on youth and young adults, because these years are often when the biggest questions about life and faith emerge. Along the way I have also been involved in pastoral ministry, church planting, and public evangelism, experiences that have allowed me to share the Gospel in many different settings and communities.
My academic journey reflects my desire to engage both faith and reason. I hold an associate degree in Language and Rationality, a bachelor’s degree in Religion, and another bachelor’s degree in Political Science. More recently I completed two master’s degrees, one in Theological Studies and another in Public Health. In 2024 I will begin a PhD in Applied Apologetics, where I hope to continue exploring how the Christian faith speaks meaningfully to the intellectual and spiritual questions of our time.
Outside of ministry and study, I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active through weight training. I am also drawn to the mysterious and the unexplained, which is why I enjoy reading, watching documentaries, and studying the Bible. Home cooked vegan food is always a favourite, and I have a special love for animals, including my dog, Hero.
At the heart of everything I do is a passion for presenting the Gospel in a way that is both compelling and inspiring. People everywhere are searching for clarity, purpose, and certainty in the uncertain times in which we live. Much of what I write and teach is shaped by the questions I once had as a confused young adult searching for reasons to believe. I am convinced that the Gospel speaks powerfully to both the heart and the mind.
